Minor Participation & Supervision Policy
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
SmartServe Tennis Lab welcomes junior players and families. These rules apply to participants under age 18 and are designed to support a safe, organized, and positive training environment.
Parent & Guardian Requirements
A parent or legal guardian is responsible for completing the required documentation for a minor participating at SSTL.
- A parent or legal guardian must complete required waivers and consents for a minor.
- A parent or legal guardian must provide required account and registration information for the minor.
Required documentation must be completed before the minor participates in applicable SSTL activities.
Participation & Staff Instructions
Minors are expected to follow SSTL’s facility rules and the instructions provided by coaches and staff.
- Minors must follow coach and staff instructions.
- Minors must remain in authorized areas.
- Participants must comply with applicable SSTL safety requirements throughout their scheduled activity.
Parent & Guardian Viewing
Parents and guardians may remain in the designated lounge or viewing area during training, subject to facility capacity and safety rules.
Designated Areas
Parents and guardians should remain in designated lounge or viewing areas while observing training.
Facility Capacity
Parent and guardian access to viewing areas remains subject to facility capacity and applicable safety rules.
Drop-Off & Supervision
Drop-off eligibility may vary depending on the participant’s age, program type, coach supervision, event type, and SSTL operating procedures.
Parents and guardians should confirm the applicable supervision requirements before leaving a minor at SSTL.
SSTL’s specific minimum-age and drop-off requirements must be confirmed before age-specific rules are published.
Owner / Attorney Confirmation Required
Set the minimum age for independent bay use and the exact drop-off and supervision rules before publishing age-specific language.
Independent Simulator Use
A minor may not independently use a simulator bay without satisfying SSTL’s minimum-age and supervision requirements.
Independent simulator access is subject to SSTL’s finalized age and supervision requirements.
Pickup Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for timely pickup of minors following their scheduled supervised activity.
SSTL is not a childcare provider outside the scheduled supervised activity.
Parties & Group Events
For parties and group events, the event organizer and participating parents or guardians remain responsible for compliance with the applicable event supervision rules.
- Children must follow SSTL staff instructions.
- The event organizer must comply with applicable SSTL supervision requirements.
- Parents and guardians remain responsible for complying with the applicable requirements for participating minors.
