PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA

Photo, Video & Media Policy

This policy explains how SmartServe Tennis Lab may photograph or record facility activities and how consent is handled for promotional use.

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

SSTL may photograph or record facility activities for operational, instructional, security, or marketing purposes only as permitted by applicable law and SSTL consent procedures.

01

Marketing Consent

Participation at SSTL does not automatically mean a person’s image may be used for marketing.

When SSTL intends to use identifiable photos, video, testimonials, or recordings for promotional purposes, SSTL should obtain the appropriate consent or media release.

A parent or legal guardian must provide required consent for a minor.

Optional photo/media consent should remain separate from required liability or participation consent, especially for minors.

02

Declining Marketing Use

A customer may decline optional marketing/media consent without losing access to ordinary SSTL services, unless photography or recording is an essential and clearly disclosed part of a specific activity.

03

Customer Photography

Personal photography may be permitted if it does not interfere with training, violate another person’s privacy, capture minors without appropriate permission, reveal private account information, or disrupt facility operations.

Commercial filming or professional photography requires prior SSTL approval.

04

Security and Operational Recording

If SSTL uses security cameras or operational recording systems, appropriate notices and a separate internal retention/access procedure should be maintained.

Security footage is not governed by optional marketing consent.
